Astrology – Ascertaining Your Birth Time

To be able to conduct an astrology reading, three things are required. Your date, place and time of birth. Most people know where and on what date they were born, but many struggle to know the time ~ particularly if a parent has passed or isn’t around to provide that information. Without a time of birth, there is no way an astrologer can ascertain your unique and exact chart information. No two charts are alike, not even for twins, so it is essential that a close time of birth is provided.

If you don’t know your time of birth, this is usually recorded on your mother’s maternity records, which can be obtained from the hospital you were born in or the County Records Bureau if within the UK. You could also ask anyone amongst family or friends who may have been present or aware of when you were born. They can often remember little details such as the milkman delivering milk, it being time for a meal, whether it was morning, afternoon or evening etc. All information is helpful when trying to ascertain a birth time.

If I cannot ascertain the exact minute, it’s usually within 5 minutes either side and that is accurate enough for most astrology readings.
