This is an absolutely incredible, 100% natural, Andamook Black Opal pendant. The colours and shimmer in it are stunning. It’s not often I’m drawn to Opals, but considering the powerful and positive energy they carry and bring into our life, these pendants are the softest, most gentle and yet fiercely strong I’ve ever come across. It’s hard to even describe how they look and feel as the only word that repeatedly comes to mind is WOW. I could get lost looking into these for hours. Apologies, the photos are rubbish (Opals are notoriously difficult to photograph). The flashiness is mainly blues & greens and stunning on this piece ~ one minute it looks jet black, the next it lights up with tons of sparkle that look like a night sky, phosphorous in the sea or the Matrix!
On a physical level, Black Opals calm our central nervous system and work to balance the energy of our adrenals, pineal and pituitary glands. Please note, if you have issues with any of these glands, working with Black Opal will bring the core or root issue to the surface so you can clearly identify it and then take action on clearing it. These Opals are not a passive energy, but one that likes to be interacted with. Once you make a connection, it’s hard not to wear or work with it continually until an entire cycle or issue has been resolved. I’ve ended up wearing mine under clothes on a piece of thong for longer term use. On a spiritual level, Black Opals are all about conquering fear and creating safety and trust within ourselves so that we feel safe to move in the outside World without doubts, fear or procrastination to hold us back. They encourage us to feel adventurous and spontaneous, so we move with the flow of life and can simply jump in, without having to take ages to think and then likely sabotage or impede our own progress. We’re likely to feel a fear and do it anyway as life is here to be LIVED. Opals are very protective however and the saying that they’re unlucky is absolute hogwash and rumours spread by jealous diamond miners back in the day as when Opals hit the market, people weren’t as interested in diamonds any more.
You will receive the pendant in the photograph. Approx 3.2cm (32mm) long x 1.8cm (18mm) wide.
