Petrified Wood, also known as Fossilised Wood, carries a deeply grounding and earthy energy and is traditionally associated with stability, balance, patience and perseverance. As a natural fossil formed from once-living wood, it is often regarded as a beautiful symbol of our connection with the Earth, nature and the passage of time.

Traditionally, Petrified Wood is associated with ancient wisdom, ancestral connection and spiritual transformation. It is sometimes used in meditation and is believed by some to support exploration of the Akashic Records, past-life themes and ancestral patterns.

Petrified Wood encourages us to slow down, remain grounded and trust the natural timing of our journey. It is often chosen as a companion during periods of change, helping us cultivate patience, resilience and a more mindful, earth-centred approach to life.

Its calm, steady qualities make it a wonderful stone for meditation, contemplation and creating a peaceful, grounded space in the home.
