Yippidee doo dah! Its SPRING!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay 🙂 I’m not a big fan of it being cold and dark….can you tell? 😉
Happy Vernal or Spring Equinox
Next week the clocks go forward here in the UK which means our days get lighter, longer and warmer. Its already warming up and there are signs of Spring all over the UK. I appreciate the dark and cold of winter and love nothing more than walking on crisp, freshly fallen snow with my breath fogging out in great plumes. First thing in the morning before anyone is awake, when the whole earth feels silent and at rest….. theres nothing like it.
However, I was brought up in the desert so warmth, sunshine, hot hazy summer days and bare feet in fresh grass or sand feels sooooooo much better to me. I love how the earth feels in Spring ~ like she is waking up after a long, deep slumber. All of a sudden, there are sprouts of colour bursting forth, bumble bees flying around and every morning, a chorus of what sounds like 100 tweets rings out loud and clear. Ahhhh Spring, ya gotta love it 🙂
This is the Aries Equinox, so effectively the start of a new astrological year. Taken from Pam Youngham’s Astrological Journal this week, the advice at the start of this new astro year is:
“The need to be recognized as an equal and to exchange reciprocal give-and-take is an important factor. Due to the need to be accepted, there is a tendency to give up one’s own needs and desires. Achieving a sensible balance between personal preferences and those of others is vital.”
Both this week and over the next three months, we may want to think about our dedication to what we have determined is most important in our lives. We may also consider ways to adjust our energy field so that we are working with rather than against — not in accommodation of others’ needs over our own, but in alignment with and acknowledgement of the flowing river of positive energy we all are travelling upon.
So theres just a little food for thought for the month’s ahead. Pam is an awesome astrologer and a very intuitive, spiritual lady so if you ever consider an astrological reading, please visit Pam. You won’t be disappointed 🙂
Have a wonderful day, a wonderful weekend and a wonderful SPRING 🙂
