Buxton Summer Fete ~ 18/19 July 2015

Buxton Summer Fete ~ 18/19 July 2015

Come and join us this July for our annual Summer Fête. With children’s rides, music, outdoor food and drink and more than 70 exhibitors selling a fabulous range of produce, it promises to be an event for all the family! From craft, home ware, gifts and jewellery to plants and original artwork it is sure to offer a fantastic and entertaining shopping experience.

Included amongst the entertainment on offer will be the very popular Kingsley Falconry, who offers the chance of close-up encounters with some of the most fascinating birds of prey. We will also be joined by the very talented face painter Funky Faces by Kate, whose portfolio is one that children will love as she offers some of children’s best-loved characters and designs. There will also be live music on the Band Stand between 2pm and 4pm on the Sunday from Whaley Bridge Band.

Held in the spacious Octagon Hall, the Buxton Summer Fete will host only the best of stalls & artists the area has to offer. There is a real element of quality to this event with an exciting mix of stalls, ideal for picking up some of those last minute presents or taking a day to have a good look round. The stalls are all fabulous hand crafted, designed & unusual products.

The Pavillion Gardens hosts a yummy cafe & restaurant, beautiful gardens, art gallery and large children’s play area. It really is a wonderful day out for the whole family and entrance is free!

I truly love this event because it takes me right back to basics again. The Mind, Body & Spirit shows have a clientelle that is fairly aware of spirituality and how crystals work. I therefore love exhibiting at non-spiritual events as the people are extremely diverse, young and old and from so many different backgrounds….. from locals to tourists. Many are also blissfully unaware of how crystals work or how they can be used – so its amazing for me to see someone light up or connect – makes my heart SING!!!

Am blessed to meet a wonderful, different mix of the British public and this event gives me the chance to engage, talk to, share with, enlighten, educate and empower in a slower, gentler way. The home made food stalls are also to die for…..do NOT visit if you have to avoid cake – we’re talking made the old fashioned way, with calories, natural ingredients and FLAVOUR……my thighs do NOT like this event….nom…nom…nom…

I’ve also met some amazing clients at Buxton ~ so this is now becoming a regular event venue for those who live locally to me in the North of the UK.
